How do I get an estimate, and what happens after an online inquiry?
Both Fleury’s locations offer free estimates. Have your vehicle’s year, make, model and VIN ready, along with a short description of the damage. If you already have an insurance claim, keep the claim information handy for your conversation with the shop.
An online inquiry goes to the shop you select for review during business hours. It does not book an appointment or authorize repairs. Call that branch for time-sensitive questions, and confirm the next step with the team before bringing the vehicle in.
Prepare for your estimate →What affects how long the repair takes?
The work depends on the damage and the vehicle. Inspection, any additional damage, the repair plan, parts availability, bodywork, refinishing and final checks all affect the schedule. Insurance coordination can also affect when the next step can move forward.
Ask the shop handling your vehicle what stage it is in, what is still needed and when to check in again. Treat an estimated completion date as a planning guide until pickup is confirmed. A rental benefit can end before the repair is finished, so check its limits separately with the insurer.
Plan transportation →Can I choose my repair shop, and who decides what insurance pays?
Washington’s insurance commissioner explains that you can typically choose your repair shop. Tell the shop if insurance is involved and ask what information is needed to coordinate your repair. Not every repair, part or related expense is necessarily covered.
Ask the insurer about coverage, deductible, parts and any amount you may need to pay. Ask the shop about the proposed repair and authorization. If an estimate or payment is disputed, request an explanation before agreeing to the next step; the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner can help with insurance questions.
Read our insurance-work guide →What should I arrange for towing or a rental vehicle?
Call your chosen Fleury’s branch before sending a vehicle to us. Ask the team about towing arrangements. Confirm the destination, arrival arrangements, provider and charges before a tow is arranged. Do not rely on a photograph to decide whether a damaged vehicle is safe to drive.
For a rental, confirm eligibility, the daily allowance, total or day limit, any deposit and the return deadline with the insurer and rental provider. Rental coverage is not automatic, and benefits may run out before repairs are complete. Ask the branch about transportation questions before drop-off; do not assume a rental or loaner is included.
Discuss towing with the shop →What should I review when I pick up my vehicle?
Walk through the completed work with the team. Review the repair paperwork, ask about any balance and discuss anything you do not understand before leaving. Confirm which areas were refinished and whether any repair-specific instructions or follow-up apply.
Keep your paperwork and the direct branch number. If you notice a concern later, contact the shop that handled the repair and describe what you are seeing or hearing. For a safety concern, stop using the vehicle when it is safe to do so and arrange appropriate help.
Use the pickup and care checklist →When can I wash, wax or coat a refinished panel?
Ask the shop for instructions for the actual finish on your vehicle. Refinish products and drying processes differ, so a single waiting period does not fit every repair. Have the team clarify washing, automatic washes, wax, polish, ceramic coatings, wraps and adhesive accessories before you use them on a refinished area.
Follow the repair-specific directions you receive. If bird droppings, sap or another contaminant lands on fresh paint, ask promptly about safe removal rather than experimenting with solvents, abrasives or a household cleaning product.
Questions to ask about fresh paint →What is Fleury’s repair guarantee?
Our collision repairs are backed by a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the vehicle.
Ask the team to explain the coverage details for your particular repair and keep the repair paperwork. Contact the branch that performed the work if you have a question about it.
