PREPARE FOR
YOUR ESTIMATE.

A short checklist and the right questions can make the first collision-repair conversation more useful.

Gather the vehicle details

Before you call or stop by, write down the vehicle’s year, make, model, and VIN. The VIN identifies the exact vehicle and helps the team begin with accurate information. Add a brief description of the damage: where the impact or scrape occurred, which panels appear affected, and anything different you have noticed since the incident. You do not need to diagnose the repair yourself.

If you already opened an insurance claim, keep the claim number available. Fleury’s works with all insurance carriers and can help you navigate the collision-claim process. If there is no claim, you can still contact either shop for a free estimate and discuss the next step directly.

Choose the right branch for the conversation

Fleury’s has two distinct locations. Fleury’s Body Shop is at 1484 NW 90th St in Ballard, Seattle and is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am–5:30 pm. Fleury’s Collision Center is at 6326 196th St SW in Lynnwood and is open Monday through Friday, 9 am–5 pm. Choose the shop that will be most practical for you, then use that branch’s direct phone or email.

If the vehicle cannot be brought in normally, call the chosen shop before arranging transportation. The team can assist in arranging a towing service and help make sure the vehicle is headed to the intended location. For immediate help during business hours, a phone call is the clearest way to begin.

Ask what the estimate covers

At the estimate, show the team all the damage you want assessed and explain any questions you already have. Ask what can be determined from the first inspection, whether closer access may reveal additional damage, and which types of work may apply. Collision bodywork, structural work, dent repair, paint and refinishing, parts, and final inspection can each be part of a repair, depending on the vehicle.

Before you leave, confirm how the shop will contact you and what information it needs next. If insurance is involved, ask which questions belong with the shop and which you should take to your insurer. Keep the branch phone number with your notes so later questions reach the team handling the estimate rather than the other Fleury’s location.
